Gavyn's 2nd birthday

I have decided to start a new blog. The other page we have doesn't give too many options. I'm not very good with blogging and I tend to ramble a lot, so you will have to bear with me and I will try my best.

Today is G1's 2nd birthday. I can't believe how big he is getting. My little 4lbs 3.5 oz newborn is now a normal sized 2 year old. I have a lot of mixed emotion about him being 2. I love watching him grow, and learning new things, but at the same time I don't want him to grow up. I think his birthday this year is harder for me than his 1st birthday was. I'm not quite sure why, but it just feels that way.

We had his party on Saturday (the 7th). He had a lot of fun and got a lot of good stuff. I was ready for it to be over though. I can't wait until we have a place that is big enough to have the kids' birthdays at our own home.

Tomorrow we are going to the Niabi Zoo. We went to the Peoria Zoo back in May and G1 loved it so tomorrow should be a lot of fun.

G2 has started crawling. She will go a foot or two and then lunge forward. It's very cute.

I guess that is good enough for my first blog. (BTW-I am going to try to get Matt on here to write some stuff. We will see how that goes.)
