Random thoughts....

G2 and G3 were born 7 months ago today. It almost doesn't seem possible that so much time has passed already. They are certainly little bundles of joy. I could not imagine life without them.

Yesterday G2 got ahold of a piece of pizza that G1 had been walking around with. I was in G1's bedroom with G1 and G3 when I thought to myself "G2 is being pretty quiet, is she sleeping?" So, I turned around so I could see her and I said "Geneva Mae?" She turned to look at me with a huge grin on her face, one big piece of pizza in one hand and one little piece in the other hand. She had sauce and cheese all over her face. I swear I almost had a heart attack. I so much wanted to grab the camera and take a picture, but I really just wanted to get the pizza away from her. The girls are still getting food that is practically liquid and here she was gnawing on pizza of all things. Now looking back and knowing that she hasn't had a reaction yet, I wish I would have taken the 30 seconds to take a picture of her with it. Oh well, I'm sure I will have another opportunity to take a picture of her with something she's not suppose to have. Oh, by the way it was supreme pizza, with peppers, onions, olives, the works.

We tried avocado the other day. G1 was the first to try it and he HATED it. He gagged for about 5 minutes. I'm pretty sure G2 and G3 aren't in love with it but they tolerated it at least. We will try it again and see how they do then.

I shaved off G1's mohawk yesterday. There are so many children with mohawks anymore that his mohawk just wasn't any fun for me anymore. After I cut his hair I decided that I would cut my hair too. I stuck it in a low ponytail and then just took scissors to it. I think I am still in a little shock for that. But it is so much easier to handle now.

We have an appointment in Galesburg on Tuesday with a mortgage banker. She's going to try to figure out a way for us to buy the house. So, keep your fingers crossed for us.
