G2 and G3 are working on writing their names. The picture of G2's is her just looking at here name and writing it, the same with the first picture of G3's. Then G3 and I worked on letters and she wrote her name again. G2 and I got to impatient with each other to work on all her letters. That's why there is only the one picture for her.
**this post was created on my phone, I'm really just wanting to see how it turns out with posting pictures**

G4 update - kind of
So, you remember this post about G4 being sick, right?
We had her follow-up appointment last week (Tuesday to be exact). The pediatrician still heard the heart murmur so he said he wants us to take her to a pediatric cardiologist. Her appointment is set for Friday afternoon. All I know is the day (Friday the 25th) and time (2:30 PM). I have no clue what doctor or where they are located. Actually that's not entirely true, I know they are in Peoria, but beyond that I have no idea. I am supposed to receive paperwork and what-not from the office before the appointment. If I don't get it tomorrow (already got today's mail) I probably won't have it by the time we leave for the appointment Friday.
I was told by the nurse at the pediatrician's office that I would need to get the films of G4's chest x-ray from the radiology department at the hospital to take with us. So, I called out yesterday to request those. They don't keep films but they keep digital copies. They burned a CD for me to take with us. I was able to look at the pictures on the netbook but I can' figure out how to copy the CD or save any of it to the computer. If I can figure it out I will probably post her x-ray pictures. I've never seen any of The Gs' x-rays before so I think it is pretty cool. I don't understand any of it but that's okay.
I don't know what they plan to do at the appointment. I have no clue what to expect or what questions I'm supposed to ask, if any. Am I supposed to have questions or concerns? How am I supposed to be feeling going to this appointment? I don't know what to tell G4 to expect. I'm not really nervous about any of this. I know people live with heart murmurs all the time. Am I supposed to be "upset" that this is going on? I hate not knowing how I'm "supposed" to feel.
Swim Lessons
The Gs are in swim lessons, starting this week.
G2 and G3 were first. Their swim lessons are Monday afternoons. Monday was of course
President's Day so G1 went with us and Matt took Sunday night off work and so he was able to watch them too.

They were super excited. I was a little nervous. I didn't know what to expect. But they did awesome and had tons of fun.
In the locker room:
G4 is in a parent child swim class because she isn't old enough to be in one on her own. Her (I guess our) class in Tuesday mornings. Monday at G2/G3's class she told me she wasn't going to swim. I was preparing myself for a meltdown from her. But Tuesday morning she was really excited.
Since I was in the water with her I wasn't able to take pictures of her during the class. But she did awesome!! At first she just clung to me, but then she started jumping in the water and having a great time. Once she got the kick bar she didn't want me touching her or it. That made me nervous but I got over it. She was making her way through the water really well and could even turn like it was nothing. When class was over she wasn't ready to get out and it was open swim anyway so we stayed for a bit longer.
There is only one other parent/child set in the class and they are our friends so it works out well. As much as I dread getting into a swim suit I am pretty excited (have I used the work excited enough in this post?!) to be doing this with her.

Playing in the snow
This morning I decided the Gs and I needed to go out and play in the snow. Shocked?? Yeah, me too. I really do detest the stuff. But I thought it would be fun for them, and really I would do anything to make my babies happy.
I got snow in G2's face, oops!:

I think G3 was making a snow angel here:

The snow was up past my knees in some places. G1, being as light as he is, was able to stand up on top of the snow, making him taller than me:

We had a lot of fun. Matt got home, from working all night and over this morning, right after we got outside. The Gs were pretty excited to see him (me too!). We only spent about 30 minutes out in the snow and probably would have stayed out longer but Matt was ready to come in and it was lunch time.
So, we bundled up. They all looked at me nuts when I had them all put on two pairs of pants, and two pairs of socks. G4 wanted to wear a different coat, that isn't quite as heavy. I bribed her with the little shovel and she cooperated in getting her heavier coat on.
Ready and excited to head outside:

G1 got right out there and threw himself into the snow:
G4 wanted to stand in the door and shovel from there:
