So busy

I have been neglecting the blog again. I am sorry.

We have so much going on right now, but I promise I will take the time very soon to update about a few things.

Swinging

G1 has learned to pump his legs while swinging (actually he learned this a LOOOONG time ago, just refused to do it until now). Here is a video of him doing so. If you watch close enough you can actually make out his face every once in a while. He was getting pretty high.

The conversation going on is about MythBusters busting the myth of being able to flip over a swing set. Also, you will hear me hiccuping (I had those darn hiccups for like an hour and a half!!).

Randomness about me

We are having a lazy day today (didn't think that would ever happen in this house, we are always busy, busy, busy!) and so I decided to find a random questionnaire to fill out. Making friends

I worry so much about my boy. He is so quiet and shy around other people. I worry that he won't make friends easily because of that. I've seen children at school try to talk to him and he wouldn't respond. It's made me sad.

But this week I've seen a change. I've seen him laughing with other children while waiting in line to go into school in the morning. I've seen him not acting so shy around others.

At soccer practice I was taking pictures of The Boy and I caught the one above as practice was ending. Him and this little boy were sharing the soccer ball back and forth. When I was going back through pictures I noticed the smile on G1's face. It made my heart warm so much!

My baby boy is growing up so fast. He is finally coming out of his shell a little and he is making friends. I knew he would open up some day, I just didn't realize the day would sneak up on me so fast. I didn't realize it would make me so emotional. I am so excited for him to make friends on his own, because he wants to and not because I push them on him.

I guess I need to quit "blinking" so much and then maybe my babies wouldn't grow up so fast.

First day of preschool

G2 and G3 started preschool for the year yesterday. I requested they get put in separate classes (they fought some last year). I was nervous about how they would react to that but they did great. G3 stayed with the teacher they had last year (I also requested that, she is a little less outgoing) and G2 got the teacher G1 had last year. They were both pretty excited.

They had a great first day and would go everyday if they could.
