Almost 2

My baby is about to turn 2. I'm not sure how we got to this point so quickly. The past year has really flown by.
G4 is super excited about her birthday, I'm not sure she knows why she is excited but she is. All the other Gs are excited for her and I'm sure that is why she is excited.
She is such a wonderful part of our family. She lights up the room just by being in it. She can be the most stubborn child (just like her mother I'm sure) but she is also the sweetest, most loving child. There are not many people that have met her that aren't absolutely in love with her.
I will hopefully get more pictures up after her birthday and birthday party but it may be a while, because I'm me.
Isn't she such a doll? Don't you just want to kiss her all over?! I love that little girl so stinkin' much!!

Here is Daddy giving her kisses and her loving it!

I also have so much to blog about: tumbling, t-ball, end of preschool for the year, preschool graduation, etc. I will try to get to it all I just know we will be uber busy for the next few weeks and don't know how soon I will get to every thing.

There is much more

I have a bunch of t-ball pictures still to post and there are 12+ videos from t-ball and tumbling. I am too tired tonight to do any more. But I will try to get to it sometime this week.

I can just tell you that t-ball and tumbling are both going very well. G2 and G3 only have this week and next week left of tumbling and then we will need to decide if we will keep them going at the Y or some where else. If we keep them going at the Y they will have 7 weeks off because of our vacation (vacation is only a week or so, but the sessions are 7 weeks and we would need to wait until the next session would start) but if we went some where else we could get them started shortly after returning from vacation. Decisions, decisions...

G1 has had 2 games so far ( would have been three but one got canceled because all the rain flooded the field, and then the second game got moved to another location). He has a lot of fun with it, there is a lot we need to work on with him. I think he is doing pretty well though, considering he has never really been exposed to baseball/t-ball in his life before this experience. G1 is loving the fact that Daddy is a coach.

Punkin or Pumpkin

When G2 and G3 were born I automatically called G2 "punkin" and G3 "princess." No reason as to why I called which one what, it just happened.
They have always known that's what I call them.
G2 pronounces it "pumpkin" I pronounce it "punkin." Either way it means G2.

Princess

I played with the settings on my phone's camera. Strange looking isn't she.
The 3rd picture is my favorite because she is making a strange face.

The Prince

Today G1 informed me that he is my prince. He is no longer my bug or "The Boy" he is a prince. Because boys can be princes.

Pretty girl

Our street

Last year we had road construction on the street to the south of our house. It was annoying they constantly parked a bulldozer in front of the house and would leave it there without touching it for a week or so. After complaining (and asking politely) a few times they moved it down the street and parked it in front of someone else's house.
It is sooo much easier to get the 4 Gs in and out of the house in the front rather than the back.
Well, this year they are doing the street in front of our house (to the east) and they have the entire block blocked off. Our neighbors have to park far away from their houses. I'm glad we are a corner house and the garage is on the side because that means I can still park on our property.
These pictures are what it looks like out my front door right now. For 3 (non-rainy) days they did practically nothing. And it has been rainy pretty much every other day so for more than a week it has been the same way. Kind of annoying. I hope they get the road and sidewalks done quickly.
I know it will be worth it. Our street is an awful brick road, and when it is icy it is horrible, and when they are done it will be resurfaced with asphalt. It will be so much nicer.
I'm just not patient enough to want to wait for it to be done. I get kind of irritated when I see a nice day (like today) and they are doing nothing out there.

Random

Trying to get a picture of the 4 Gs one morning. Didn't go so well.
Isn't this just the sweetest?!
One afternoon the Gs and I went to Macomb to visit Aunt Marcia (and we got to see Uncle Jacob for a bit). Like always, we didn't get nearly enough time in with them.
This is G4 on the way to Macomb.
This is G4 on the way home from Macomb (notice G2 and G1 in the background).

Big girl bed

A couple weeks ago we (actually I did) took down G4's crib and got out the toddler bed. She wasn't sure what to think at first and then got excited about being in a big girl bed. She says it so cute too. I wish she would let me record her talking on video...
G3 likes to sleep on the floor, so that is actually where G4 ends up a lot too. But being in a big girl bed is working out pretty well, at night time--nap time is not going so well...

Here is G4 saying "bye-bye" to her baby bed.
After the toddler bed got put in the kids' room and she made the bed.
First night sleeping in the big girl bed.
When she saw these pictures earlier today she got super excited and said "big girl bed" over and over. For her to get excited today is pretty amazing. The 4 Gs aren't feeling the best. :-(

TBP

*To Be Posted*

I have about 500,000,000,000 pictures and videos to post, give or take a few. I will get them posted within a couple days. G1 has his first t-ball game tomorrow, so I will try to post stuff tonight and then pictures/videos from the game tomorrow. We shall see.

If I don't get stuff posted within a couple days you all have my permission to nag me until I do.
