Playing with hair

I have been playing with the girls' hair a lot lately (I go through spurts on playing with it). They have really seemed to enjoy me doing so, and asking for me to do their hair. Here is a couple hair-dos that we have had in the past week or so. They pictures aren't the best, they were taken on phones, and not with good lighting.

First is G2, it was much cuter (anyone that saw her at church can attest to that!) than it appears. This picture was taken in the evening after she had had a full day. I started at the bottom and went up (you can see how I did that) and ended with two ponytails, not pulled all the way through.

Here is G3. I didn't get a good picture of the back of her head (actually I might have with the camera, but I am not motivated enough to search right now). What I did was spiral her hair around her head and ended with a ponytail, not pulled all the way through.

G4 did not want to sit still for a picture at all. She wanted to see herself on the phone, while I was taking the picture. Funny girl!! Here I started at the top and the bottom (doing the same as what I did with G2's) and brought them together in the middle. Sorry the bottom picture didn't get turned, I forgot.

It is so much fun to play with their hair, now that they all have more. The older 2 girls still don't have a whole lot on top so I have to get creative on how to make that look okay.

Now to go blog stalking to get ideas on cute hair-dos, and then figure how to make them work for my girls...

  2. I can't figure out how you get them to sit still enough to do all of that to their hair. My girls barely sat still long enough to get to braids or ponytails in their hair. I love them by the way (both the girls and the hairdos [mostly the girls]).

  3. I just realized I misspelled two in my comments, unless I meant to get to the braids and ponytails, but I think I meant two. I hate it when I give the wrong spelling for words like to too two, their there, see sea, or whatever. I do it more than I realize though and then wonder what I was thinking. I still love their hair (not hare).
