We went to another zoo yesterday. But
I figured that before
I post pictures from there
I should probably post the pictures from our trip to the St Louis Zoo.
I got the camera back on the Monday after going down. Which was amazing because
I didn't figure
I would get it until later in the week.
I just haven't had (or taken) the time to do a post about that trip until now.
*Funny note:
I didn't realize until just going through these pictures but
G2 and
G3 were wearing the same shirts to both zoos (just opposite--you will see later).
So here is
our fun day at the zoo on March 26, 2009:

Family picture
G3 wanted in with him. And then he started walking towards where
we were and
she got even more excited.
G4 was being very goofy and would make a face or look away every time
Daddy tried to take
her picture.
I'm so glad
he loves
her.
I'm not sure what's going on.
G3 is on the left.
I don't remember what
she was looking at but
she was excited.
I told
Matt that this looks like one of our children.
He didn't agree.
I think
I will name
him Griff.

Mesmerized
G1 named him Tracy

Him too. Cool antlers huh?

Another family picture

Walking with
Grammy (
we are so lucky that
we get to take
her with
us on so many adventures!)
I wish
I could get that comfortable
Grammy and the 3 older
Gs still looking at the Sun Bear ^
G3 wanted to pet the penguins
The Gs growled at the anteater when he started walking towards us.
Then it turned and walked away.
It made everyone around laugh.

There was a tunnel the kids could crawl through.

While
we were standing there watching the elephants
I overheard a young girl say to her father,
"Daddy, that elephant just walked through his poop!"
It made
me laugh.

Checking stuff out from the train

Isn't
she pretty?!

Look at those eyes!

"Choo choo" (check out video below)
Grammy and
The Gs

The Gs
G2 wanted to hold
G4The video: some of the Gs saying "All aboard" and then G3 and G2 saying "Choo, choo." G3 got more into it. You can't hear them too well because of the guy talking but it's still fun to watch them.
I love the pictures and the video is so fun. Y'all had such a good time.
ReplyDeleteCute pictures and video! I'm glad you all had so much fun!
ReplyDeleteFirst you don't tell us you're going, now you wait until forever to post the picks ;P
ReplyDeleteGrammy sure got into the "Choo-Choo's"
Love it.
That trip was so much fun, but I probably wouldn't have been choo-chooing if I would have known the video camera was running. The weather was perfect for a zoo trip.
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of G1 with his arm around G4, more so because of his thumb popped in his mouth! I love when little boys suck their thumbs :) Also, I like how teeny the Gs look in the pic by the "zoo" statue! What a fun trip! It's wonderful that your mom can do that stuff with you! As much as we enjoy living overseas for now, that's a definite drawback. I really want to live closer to family in the not-tooooo-distant future. So fun!
