2010 Highlights

2010 went by very fast. Lots of things happened. Here are some highlights (good and bad) by months.

January
*G2 and G3 started preschool

February
*G2 and G3 got their ears pierced
*Blessing day for the Gs
*We joined the Y

March
*Going through calendars I find nothing note-worthy that happened in March (also there were no blog posts for March, strange*

April
*G1 started t-ball
*G2 and G3 started tumbling

May
*G1 had his first t-ball game
*G4 got her ears pierced
*G1 graduated from preschool
*G4 turned 2 and had a wonderful party

June
*We took a family trip to Texas for "Cousin Felicia's" graduation and stayed about a week.
We also went to Kansas on the way their and back. It was a blast and didn't last long enough.
*We brought Noah home with us and that was tons of fun
*I won a free 1-year membership to the Y at the BNSF health fair

July
*G1 turned 5!
*Matt had an interview in Topeka--it was a bust. He didn't have the interview. :-(

August
*Girls and I (along with others) went to the send off for Uncle Monkey in Waterloo
*G1 attended Kids on Campus (a program put on by the local community college)
*G1 started Kindergarten
*G1 also started martial arts (Kuk Sool Won/KSW) and soccer

September
*G1 had his 1st soccer game
*Matt started martial arts (KSW)

October
*Matt and I had our 5th wedding anniversary
*Matt and G1 had their 1st martial arts demonstration for a DARE fundraiser

November
*Matt and Gavyn participated in their 1st martial arts tournament
-G1 tied for 3rd in sparring and got 2nd in Korean wrestling
-Matt got 1st in sparring and Korean wrestling

December
*G2 and G3 had their first "friend party" for their birthday
*G2 and G3 turned 4!
*G2 and G3 had preschool Christmas program
*Matt turned 26

2010 was a pretty good year, although it was a very emotionally trying year for me personally. I am hoping 2011 is an awesome year for us and everyone else.

I know I am behind on posting my photo a day pictures and posting for everything else. If I had more hours in every day then I might be able to stay caught up more. But that can't happen so I do my best. Be patient with me.
