Coats, shoes, bags, boots... they all drive me crazy! I have been trying to figure out how to get some control over these things. So I hung up some hooks (2 per child) for coats and bags. On the floor I put down a yoga mat and then a bucket per child to put their shoes/boots in. We still struggle some, but it seems to be helping quite a bit. I decided I wanted to personalize it a little more, so I painted some plaques and put the Gs' names on them. Although they are not perfect, I am pretty pleased with how it turned out.

ReplyDeleteI love them too! I might try to make something like that for Will! He does such a great job of hanging up his coat at daycare, but at home its all too high!
