I have sent in the registration form and fee for The Boy to go to preschool in the fall. He is so excited. We talk about it all the time. He tells me, "I can't go yet." When I ask him why he tells me, "It wasn't your birthday now." I have told him he will get to go but he has to wait until G4 has a birthday, then he will have a birthday, and then Mommy with have a birthday; THEN it will be time for him to go to school. He is getting so grown-up. I am anxious and apprehensive at the same time about him starting preschool. I'm glad I have a while to prepare for this. **Hopefully he won't be put on the waiting list because he will be very disappointed if he doesn't start after my birthday.** We have elected for him to only go Monday-Wednesday-Friday rather than the Monday-Friday. I think it would be harder on me and him both (probably more me) if he went everyday, since he has never really been away from me for anything like this. I'm just not looking forward to loading up all the Gs to take him and pick him up.
I never really planned on sending any of my children to preschool but I think G1 really needs to go. I think it will be really good for him (and me) for him to go.
that is so much fun, I can't wait till I'm old enough for preschool.
ReplyDeleteI bet that will be hard to send him off! He will have a blast, I'm sure. He's such a smart little guy, I can just imagine him basking in all the new experiences. Not that I think he wouldn't get those at home, or that he'll be thrilled to be gone, but it'll just be different. you know what I mean. I hope! ;) That picture is perfect for this post.
ReplyDeleteI love the blog header pic, too, so cute and funny!
